Welcome to the Northwest Gangs website. This website was made to give general information on street gang activity in the Northwest region of the United States.

Modern day street gangs have been active in the Northwest since the 1980's. Since then the Bloods, Crips, Surenos and Nortenos all made the move up here from California. Also in the 1980's the Gangster Disciple Folk Nation came to the greater Seattle-Tacoma area from Chicago, Illinois. More recently the Vice Lords and Latin Kings from Chicago’s People Nation have been showing up in our communities. Also in many communities are Skinhead, Neo-Nazi, Outlaw Motorcycle and Hybrid gangs.

On here you will find listings of several hundred different gangs throughout the Northwest. Gangs in the Northwest can have as few as 3 or 4 members to a few hundred members. They come from all racial backgrounds such as Blacks, Hispanic, Asian, Caucasian and Native American. The majority of gang members are males, but female gangsters are becoming more common. They can be as young as 10 and as old as 50.

This is a work in progress, so things will change periodically. I will be adding more things to the website as time goes along, but I am designing the website solely by myself and it may take me awhile to finish everything. Enjoy the website and contact me with any questions or comments.

Asian Gangs in Los Angeles County | Wah Chings | Pinoy | Jeffrox | Satanas –

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department, there are approximately 20,000 Asian gang members in Los Angeles County. Based on a survey conducted by Streetgangs.com in 2009, we have estimated that number to be substantially smaller, between 9,000 and 12,000 members county wide. We found that many of the gangs that the County regards as active have become defunct as members have matured out the gang, and other gangs were just much smaller than originally estimated. We also found that Asian gangs that are identified as being affiliated with Hispanic and Black gang structures (i.e. Bloods, Crips or Surenos) are included in the tallies of those gangs, while also being identified a second time in the Asian category. Major Prison Gangs

There are six major prison gangs that are recognized nationally for their participation in organized crime and violence. They have no known official affiliation with other alliances. Each group is represented in Florida's prison system population; however some are not readily recognizable. The six major prison gangs currently are: Neta Aryan Brotherhood Black Guerrilla Family Mexican Mafia La Nuestra Familia Texas Syndicate Although their numbers are small in Florida prisons, if left unmonitored they could easily develop into highly predatory groups as they have in states with comparable inmate populations.
